Aaron Willette is a designer currently operating out of Ann Arbor, MI. His current investigations relate to the practical application of computational tools and their intersection with traditional interpretations of craft and technique. He’s currently a member of the inaugural class of the University of Michigan’s Masters of Science in Architecture: Digital Technologies program and a research assistant in the school’s Digital Fabrication Lab.
He holds a Bachelors of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology along with Associate degrees in both Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering. In addition to his collaborations with LAN, Aaron is a project designer with the media-arts installation collaborative Artforming. Prior to his return to graduate school, he worked at Wentworth where he managed the fabrication facilities and taught courses dealing with the application of computational tools in the design process.”
