LaN @ Montana State University School of Architecture

Live Architecture Network was invited to teach MSU School of Architecture’s Visiting Scholar Studio.  This studio allows graduate students to expand on their knowledge with tutors from outside the regular faculty.  LaN directors will each visit Bozeman, MT for two weeks.  Luis Fraguada is currently in Bozeman getting the students acquainted with the Grasshopper environment in Rhino.  To follow the studio, please visit LaN @ MSUSOA: Visiting Scholar Studio.

The brief for the studio is Extreme Environments: WIND.  The studio was given a series of sites that have naturally windy conditions throughout the year.  In order to instrumentalize the information pertinent to each site, the first task is to design a device to measure the wind and other climactic conditions.
