vb.net + grasshopper: adaptive surface subdivision

srfrecsubdivA quick translation of Rhinoscript to vb.net in order to control a recursive function inside of Grasshopper.  First video shows that as the surface facets grow in area, the facet will subdivide further.  Second video shows recursion based on the distance from an attraction point.  Images show adaptation to multiple attraction points.  The function will be developed to work with a variety of conditions, including surface curvature, edge angles, and edge length in order to complete a few paneling tasks.

  1. Hi, I really apreciate your site!! I’m coming quite often to have look on your stuff – really great!
Myself I’m a student at the EPF Lausanne, Switzerland and working on structural optimization! Would it be possible that you share your code for that adaptive surface subdivision? I’d be very happy to have a look at it! Or am I just too stupid to find the link to the file?
