With an increase in the education of digital coding and growing accessibility to readily available health sensors, LAN is directing a workshop that shows how the two can begin to merge. In this workshop we will explore the basics of Arduino’s hardware and coding through heart rate monitors. By the end of the workshop we will be able to visualize the heart rate information and learn ways we can integrate this in our every day lives. You will also learn how Ardunio can assist you with many other projects within different disciplines including: architecture, environmental awareness, fashion, environmental monitoring and other home projects.
fee includes the following hardware for each participant:
- “Pulse Sensor” a well-designed plug-and-play heart-rate sensor for Arduino.
- ardunio uno + sensor kit + battery + battery connector
